Updates Of A Few Fh 9th July 2009

Hi all,

Here are some updates of Bozo, Willy, Jordon and Tyson... Willy is the so called GM and I have him since 2 months... Bozo is the Koky 4 inch Fh and I have him since 15 days or so... Jordon is the KML and he is sporting a lil KOK, he is 4 inches... Tyson is the KK and he doesnt have a KOK so far, he is 4 inches.

What Makes Flowerhorns So Expensive?

There is no doubt that flowerhorns are beautiful, but why are they so expensive?

Option 1 - Are they expensive because they are hybrids?

Option 2 -Are they expensive because the breeding methods used, cost the breeders a lot of money?

Option 3 - Are they expensive because there is demand for this fish and people are ready to spend $200 - $1000 on them

Option 4 - Any other reason, please specify..

I made this thread to get your opinions, what makes flowerhorns so expensive?

Hi all,

This is the fry I got from wasan bettas.. He was 1 inch when I got him and now he is about 1.75 - 2 inches....

Can anyone please id his type, he is getting a tiny kok, and I hope he is a male ( I already have 2 female fh and now I hope that the rest of the fh are males )

Hi all,

I tried my level best to try and determine the sex of my FH but I couldnt do it.... I know the pics dont show the vents clearly but this is the best i could do for now...

Willy And Thumper Grand Sumo Updates

Hi all,

Here are 3 week updates of Thumper and Willy. I have been using Grand sumo, Hikari, Cp and Humpy head! Comments welcome :).. I shall be using ching mix HB and Ching mix stones when I get them.. :)
