Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to announce FlowerhornCraze.com will be running a Picture of the Month Contest again. We are gathering more pictures to be featured in a FHCraze.com Calendar!

Here are the rules:

1. Picture must be of a flowerhorn or hybrid
2. One submission per fish* per month
3. Winners may not be re-submitted for a different month, those who did not win can be re-submitted
4. Picture must be taken by YOU! This does not mean the fish has to be yours but the PICTURE MUST BE YOURS.

(* one member may submit photos of different fish)

Judging will be based on quality of the photo not quality of the fish. Judges will consider all the following factors:

Lighting
Focus
Balance/composition
creativity/perspective

PhotoShop or other editing software CANNOT be used to alter your pictures whatsoever!

Judging will be by General membership vote. Ties will be settled by a 'Team Craze' vote.

Please send your submissions to my PM box by no later than 09/15/2010. Voting will run from 09/16/10 - 09/25/10

Please do not post your pictures in this thread... send them via PM only please!

Holy Crap

This is a scary ass fish..lol



FYI: This sturgeon is still alive, just worn out from the fight.
As the sports fishermen they are, they turned him loose after the photo.

This Sturgeon was caught on the LAKE OF THE WOODS , KENORA , ONTARIO two weeks ago.
It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs and measured out at 11'1".

It was 56" around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours, and 4 dozen beers, for the 4 guys taking turns at the reeling it in.

Any Sturgeon OVER about five feet has to be released unharmed and cannot be removed from the water.

They are brood / breeding stock and probably older than most of us.
