hi there every1. ive been a member on this site here for a year or so now and there are alot ALOT of great interesting facts, opinions, experiences, and topics i had read; even took some considerations to my own use, plus the feedbacks on my own topics. well i guess what this topic is about is that being honest:
1.what catches your eyes first pearls or monster kok?

2.if you had one chance on spending alot of money on one masterpiece, what would you prefer? pearls or monster kok?

for me, as if i was to come upon a whole bunch of fhs, the monster kok or the one with the biggest kok would catch my eyes over and over to sometimes makes me buy it. unless, there's one or two that is pearly with big or monster kok.
and if i was to buy a fh piece, i would have trouble picking.

....overall iwould like to own a nice mp witgh best of the both worlds of pearls and kok...but a humpy head would catch my eyes first

i was told that a flowerhorn can thrive almost in any water condition besides satwater and can live on their k o k for a month or so. and also most importantly, the guy told me that fh's do best at 90 degress temp with ph at low 8's and soft water with regular maintenance.

he had flowerhorns before but now he's into discuss and he says fh's are almost like discuss but less work...due to that discuss cichlids needs their eco system to be perfect. i wasnt really sure about what he meant but for the experts and any experienced hobbyiests out there help me clearifying this temp@ high 80s - low 90s,ph@8, and soft water theory? and if this is true, can i expect it to work on ANY flowerhorn?, depending on from triggering breeding horomones to imported/home to size, strain, age, etc? would greatly appreciate it!!

hi all, does any of you guys have a problem with male eating the eggs as soon as its been lay? yeah cause, i have a male that i just couldnt figure out the reason why he eats them. i feed him well and all too, healthy diet and all. i feed him from a mixture of chingymix, spectrum, viking, spiruluna, and a little bit of sumo red, plus either frozen blood worms or market shrimp once a week. no feeders though.

so overall he's a well fed fish from a fry and now he's 7in tip to tip. im just curious why he still eats the eggs and not doing what he's suppose to being doing?? could it be that he's not getting enuf nutrients or just hungry all the time or he is still young??.............he pair up fine too...not a bully. really need help on this sort of behavior of my male fh??
