can anyone post some photos of what the fry or product will look like if:
1.a male fh spawned with a female blood parrot
2.male convict with female parrot
3.male firemouth with female parrot
4.male fh with female convict(and vice versa)
5.male fh with female texas(vice versa)

and additional question,how many % chance will a male parrot be sterile?and except for waiting when they spawned and the eggs hatch,is there other way to tell if he is fertile?

I dont think there will be any way to really tell other than waiting it out.

As for the combos you mention, you may have yourself alot of feeders if they do hatch except for the last combo which could be pretty hot depending on the fh

A male flowerhorn x female parrot = ZZ Flowerhorns..

A male flowerhorn x King kong parrot = Basic kamfas..

A male flowerhorn x female texas or vice versa = I am not sure but the fry should look good...

The fry of the other combination will not be impressive and has cheken said most may end up as feeders....

Most male parrots are said to be infertile and female parrots are generally fertile, but then again some people have had success with male parrots...

What is done with the ordinary looking fry will depend on the breeder but most quality conscious breeders will manually feed the ordinary looking fry to other fish...

My personal opinion is that if you know that the offsprings are not going to be sell able then dont breed that combination of fish.. This will avoid culling :)

sis nikita is right, but only one thing though:male flowerhorn x female bp = kamfa and not zz... Coz only zz x zz can produce zz flowerhorns...

convict x bp should create jellybean parrots and don't sell for much...
flowerhorn x convict = feeder fish...

the last combination should be pretty interesting... I might have to try and breed my danggit(male carpintis) with my harriett(female zz) to see what their offsprings will look like... :-)

as for fertility issue of male bp... good luck in finding a fertile male bp...

why would you need a male bp anyway? :-)

Wouldn't be cool if you can hybridized a Jewel, with KOK of course.

thank you guys..i have a couple of extra males and female of cichlids i mentioned and wanted to try combinations.
as for the male blood parrot,i asked it so that i can avoid buying one.i want to buy a female,so i am trying to look for ways at least to avoid males.don't wanna buy a lot of bp's..they are not that cheap in our area.

To get female blood parrots, always check the vent bro... You have to look for those with a u-shaped vent and it is pointed straight down... Males = v-shaped and is pointed backwards... Females are also more rounded as males are more squarish and muscularly built... :-)

about the pearly fins and tail of the females... I have never bought a male bp so I can't tell you the correct info regarding that... but based on the pics I posted it does look like the female has pearls and the male doesn't... And All 3 female blood parrots that I have kept had pearls on their fins and tail... :-)

this is pinky, I sold her already... it's not so clear in the pictures but she does have pearls on her fins and tail...

i have a parrot i bought 3 weeks ago.i tried venting it but i was unable to confirm if it's a female,can't see well the vent.i have read that if you squeeze gently a male cichlid in it's vent part,a liquid should come out(i think that would be their milt?).i tried it in my parrot and some liquid did came out!so is it a male?but if 99% of male parrots are sterile,then there should not be milt/liquid that would be coming out right?.....but it matches your descriptions and including the "pearls on fins" as a female.i put it with a male fh to see if it'll go gravid and will wait for the vent to come out.oh,and it's shape is like your pinky. :)
