I bought a used corralife 48" T5 dual bulb light. The actinic blue bulb went out about a month later. I need to replace the bulb. What color bulb should I use to the best look out of my FH?

I use 2 Actinic and 2 Colormax 48" T12 bulbs on my big tanks. I love Actinic for bringing out whites and blues. The Colormax will bring reds out but for red nothing beats red LED's.

Are those the 3/4" thick bulbs? That's what I need.

Despite some controversial about pink bulb being used as tank ligthting,i still think pink color ighting is the best to bring out coloration of your fhs,esp if the fh has red and yellow tone.

I just bought a single strip Coralife T5 freshwater color max Lighting on my 75 .... i used to have power compacts 6500K but to powerful... i think they where good for planted tanks so i just bought a new one. If for flowerhorn on a 75 i think it is more than enough... enclosed is a picture on how strong one strip of colormax is....

Do you have glass lids on the tank? I have a Nova double tube T5 and it does not look as bright as that.
