I like your idea of having an out of the water pump! What brank is it, how much did that one cost, and how many GPH does it cycle? At first i thought that the OTF was not enough for the tank, but then i see your also using the larger Aquaclear. I'm doing the same thing for my 100g, except that i have a wetdry/sump and AquaClear combo.

Thanks for the tip Andy - Didn't know pump could run out of the water. Looks like an interesting weekend project for me. I got 3 Eheim canister filters on its way, but I'll try your approach. Will PM you for help, bro :-)!!! Looks like your RAREFISH has a great bio tank!!!

I using the Quiet one 2200(625gph) cost around $45. Also I used the AC110 & another canister filter.
My 150gl tank I used just a wet dry filter but I add around 12 box of bio ring into it & alot of floss. It very well too
