I am quite aware that these 2 flowerhorns are not close to the best but this is all I could buy due to my geographical location.

i like the first one.. the golden pearls are nice.. if it had a bigger tail would be awesome.. then u can work on color.. the second has great color!!!looks like some sort of kamfa?? just with red eyes..

i suck at id's but hope you guys get the fh hobby kicked up over there so u can get some quality pieces....

did u get both of these guys or are you planning on it?

Thank you Tina.. I missed this forum a lot :)

I got these 2 boys yesterday ( I saw a bit of their vents and that suggested that they are boys ) The shop guy insisted that the red one id a kamfa but I had my doubts... The pearl's tail flares out when he swims but when ever I go near the tank they tend to hide (its been 12 hours since I got them so they are a bit shy) I have started feeding them on Hikari, shrimp and I am supplementing their food with Xo pellets. I should get grand sumo and ching mix soon , I will be feeding them both the supplements once a week on two different days.

I plan to order from aquabid sometime in august. :)

P.S the pearl fh (Willy) is 5 inches and the red fh (Wonka) is 7 inches.

Looks like a malau and a kamfa with a lot of BP blood sis... Nice pieces, good luck on pumping them up... They still look stressed but I'm sure they will adjust to their new home in a couple days time... :-)

I agree that the second one is a kamfa of some sort but I think the first one is a medium grade GM
