Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right.. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

i hope these 2 species dont stay together permanently. balzanii (as well as all Gymnogeophagus) require a severe temp drop for a few months of the year otherwise they will suffer badly, this temp drop is much to low for a severum (efasciatus to be exact) to withstand.

nice fish though, ive always admired the look of G. balzanii, even if they could pass as the world ugliest creatures, still a favorite of mine!

I love those little Balzaniis too... Looks so ugly but still I like them nonetheless... Gage, why is there a need for the sudden temp drop? :-)

they need the imitation of the winter months otherwise they just melt away and die, there color will fade drastically and will usually kill them.

they require a 3 month drop to a temp of 54-60 degrees Fahrenheit.

and the drop should not be sudden, should slowly drop the temp, as though imitating winter.
