I would think it would help a midas also. Give it a try, I feed ching to my synspillum and it helps keep his front nice and red. I have fed it to my other cichlids also when I ran out of their food.

Definitely Chingmix will help your fish.
My friends midas turned super red eating Chingmix.
You gotta try it out and share with us your experience.
I do need more people with Vieja, Midas, and other pure species to try out chingmix.
Because not much people with pure species use Chingmix, so it would be nice to see
how feeding them some good food would turn out.

I'd be interested in feeding my Argentea Chingmix, but he wouldn't eat floating pellets.
