I bought this for a store, I didn't know what it was but liked the colors, had it for a long time. My Younger boy tried to do a water change and didn't put water through the hose or put de-chlorinator and fish died.

wow so sorry for your loss!! i honestly didn't know that not adding de-chlorinate will kill the fish asap!

i thought something completely different!!! several years ago i thought that the longer the new water sat in a fresh changed tank, the less affect the chlorination had on fish and aquatic life!! however i do use some sort of de-clorinator every time nowadays. if you do not have it on hand i hear filling buckets and letting them sit overnight helps too.

that fish looked like it was a unusual one!!!

gl finding a replacement!!

oh and teach your son how the process occurs on a water change!!!

chlorine shouldnt have killed him so easily, is there chloramines in your water?

that sux he died, he did have bizarre color on him.
