All goldfish belongs to the same species: Carassius auratus.

Kingdom: Animalia (all animals)
Phylum: Chordata (nerve chord)
Class: Actinopterygii (ray-finned, bony fish)
Order: Cypriniformes (suckers and minnows)
Family: Cyprinidae (carps and minnows)
