I just recieved my chingmix today and here are the beginning pics of my two FH. I am hoping that this works for me as good as it did for everyone else. Will Try and give Two week picture updates on how it all is going. I purchased the Maxima SP80 and the Headbooster SP80. If there are any suggestions on how i should feed this out, I am open to everything to make this stuff work.

IMHO its not as good as Bloodworms, but its not bad for your fish. Krill works well in bringing out the redness in FH, whereas bloodworms work better as the digestive aid...

"Beauty is subjective and varying. What is considered beautiful in one place may not be in another, and there are no sure guidelines for beauty. Because of his, the overall impression that a fish gives you at the start is certainly very important. You may find defects and unattractive places when you carefully observe a fish's entire body, but then find that after you have stepped back a few feet, that the things you found fault with do not offend the eye and may actually be quite pleasing. Your balanced judgement is the overall impression you have received and is absolutely subjective. The most important part of selecting a Flowerhorn, apart from a few basic principles, is the overall feeling that a fish gives you." - The ever-changing of Lo-Han

Here are a few pics of after feeding chingmix for 2 or 3 weeks. I think it is working more on my female than my male.

QUOTE (Stunzeed @ May 9 2008, 08:31 PM) Well when i took the pics my pair was about to lay eggs. So that could have had an effect. I now have them separated so they can't see each other. The male is with the eggs and he seems to be protecting them and faning them. Will see if anything happens. Its been 24 hours now. fingers crossed So what happend with the eggs? Did they get fertilized? Not sure if you posted in another topic.. but just browsing and saw this post. Great looking male by the way.. i love his fins
