I have read in the past that breeders add banana to their beefheart mix. In the UK, beefheart has given way to turkey heart because of the hormones being fed to cattle. Of course, if you are making your own mix, there are prawns to add, and other white non- oily fish, spinach and crushed garlic cloves. IMO, you can't beat a good heart mix and frozen bloodworm to bring out the best in your fish.
