Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to announce FlowerhornCraze.com will be running a Picture of the Month Contest. At the end of the year each month's POTM winner will be featured in a Craze.com 2010 calendar! Given that we only have a few days left in January we need to get started quickly! So here are the rules:

1. Picture must be of a flowerhorn or hybrid
2. One submission per fish* per month
3. Winners may not be re-submitted for a different month, those who did not win can be re-submitted

(* one member may submit photos of different fish)

Judging will be based on quality of the photo not quality of the fish. Judges will consider all the following factors:

Lighting
Focus
Balance/composition
creativity/perspective

Judging will be by General membership vote. Ties will be settled by a 'Team Craze' vote.

I want to that everybody for making the site such a HUGE success!! We have been expanding at an outrageous rate and so we have a few amazing things planned for the new year. You may have experienced slow down and wacky errors and this is due to just overloading the server with queries since at any given time we have 50+ people online reading up on their favorite fish. We are squeezed every last drop out of this server and then some so its time to move onto new horizons and a bigger badder server. By doing this our hosting bill is jumping doubling to $100+/mo and until now everything has been free to the public and to sellers in order to create an open market. One of the thing we will be doing is offering a subscription to "Team Craze" which will offer many benefits but primarily allow you to access previews of the GB as well get a 30min head start on selecting your fish for $25/year. Your support will go directly into paying the monthly hosting fee which will keep this site available for all to view and access! We will also be implementing limited ads across the site so if you see a banner click it and help a brother out!
