How long have you had him?
I would think it only takes a couple of months to get back to the original status or better.
Sorry but I think that is a difference 4_12_12[1].gif of night and day with this guy.
You sure that's the same fish?

Pearl shot on the kok looks like the same fish.
The fish is just not yet stable. Ask jon for some advice
to see how to make him look at his best.

here are some pics for verification it is the same fish.

Yes, it is the same FH. Best towards your FH's recovery... it is a beauty when in top form.

Having no background at first was definitely hurting you. Just make sure you have good excess filtration with good water flow to create aeration and make sure to do weekly W/C. I had mytank cycling for a month before i added my new I have plenty of corals and also use biohouse stacked-tray wet/dry filtration.

If you want to be safe...

*Here is how I cure pop-eye & ducklip if the flowerhorn is still eating. Basically you soak the krill with the med. After the krill soaks up the med like a sponge you feed twice a day for 5-7 days... up to 10 days if needed. I have had great success with this effective treatment. One of the beauties of this treatment is that it will not harm the biological filtration. Also, it will knock out persistent pop-eye, etc.

Just another tip for you guys!

No doubt it may just have frog eyes. I had one flowerhorn with frog eyes that could turn around and look almost straight at you. It was kinda funny.

One way to check is to compare pics of the flowerhorn from before & see if the had the same proportion.
