hey guys, for those of you who didnt believe me about feeding synspilum veggies to enhance color look at the difference in just 5 days of feeding nothing but unthawed, De-shelled peas.
about a week ago: ![]() Today: ![]() dont forget, this is only the first 5 days of my one month experiment of feeding peas twice a day with pellets only once a week. This post has been edited by Gage: Aug 30 2008, 01:38 AM |

I didn't even see this post Gage...
Looks like the red in him came out a lot more.. have u been able to tell if it's a male or female yet? I feed mine veggie pellets no peas though.. and he is coming along great.. This pic was taken a few weeks ago after starting the veggie diet.. i will have to update him in my thread tomorrow with a current pic.. I dont have a before pic of him but he was pretty dull with no color before the veggie pellets.. Veggies do help bring out the color of the syn i have to agree with you:) -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

i dont think thats a pure syn Tina, his whole back half should be either yellow or orange, not blue, looks like a mix to me, i think i see some zonatus is there
veggies work for all Vieja spp, doesnt matter which one, if you feed fresh veggies it will work much better. if he will eat boiled spinach for you that is perfect. |
