Alright, im going to be gone for a week and am worry about them. I will feed them well the day before and followed with a massive WC the day i leave. Any suggestions on what i can do? I know they have those vacation food sticks for guppies and small fishes, not sure how well it does with a fh/frontosas..

they can last a week without food bro, I think WC the day before you leave and power feed the day you leave. Fish arnt that sensitive bro. Just make sure all the top is covered so they wont jump. If you are reallllly worried the get an automatic feeder and leave lights off at all times.

I've heard flowerhorn can go as long as 1 month or more without being feed.
So one week is nothing to them, without feeding your tank will be so clean when you get back.

sheet will start kickin in at a month, make sure you start right away small feedings 3-4 times a day to keep belly full and fatten up like hibernating.

When we went to FLA in December for a week we bought the vacation food blocks.. it looks like a hard white rock.. we cut 2 blocks up and put them into each tank and each side of the divider.. when we got back the water was still clear and the food was gone.. they are cheap here about $1.79 / block from Big Al's. Did the same thing when we were gone for 4 days this past July and they were happy as happy could be!

But i'm sure a week is fine.. i just spoil my fishy's:))

I would personally not feed any of them. Do another WC and just wait to come home. watch all the koks on your fish pop out more!

i haven't fed one of my fish for 3 weeks during HEX treatment. He's still OK until now. I think what you need to do is WC before you leave, everything will be fine.

Do a big water change the day before and then give them their last meal the day you leave and everything will be OK for a week or two.
Or don't feed them the day you leave and it still be OK. I fast my fish for 2 weeks and they look even better.

Hi Ken,

Please buy a automatic feeder.
That will help you feed them once per day for a long time.
That is what I used when I went to Philippines from june 13 to july 3
