This was a fish bred by cousin and given to me ever since it was a fry. Lived a soild 4 years. It died awhile ago just never posted it Out of all flowerhorn deaths stories. This one touched me because he's been through so many rough painful times and now dead. That makes me sad. All the other FHs that were well treated their whole life by their owners never touch me when they die. Just another dead fish. Not this one. R.I.P. fishy. -------------------- My friend told that if I ever become homeless, I would be walking around with my fish in a bucket.

awww sucks he died... and he went through a lot too... that was a very nice fish... nice yellow on him looks like you raised him well though:) Thanks! Yea I loved the yellow on him especially! It reminds me of old banana color of the older breeds. RIP... I think that he is in flowerhorn heaven now... Too bad you had to lose him... :-( I really hope he is in flowerhorn heaven and not the other place hehe. 4 years ago he was a aaa mp.did u get any fry from him great body shape and kok if u bred a pearly texas to him he u would get sum killa mp zz.sory 4 ur loss it looks like he was luved and well cared 4. The funny thing is bro I did try to breed him with a female carpinte texas, but it turn out that the female gave him the really bad skin flukes that almost killed him. hehe but he was a "G" and recovered nicely. dam bro that really sux. He was a beast too. Sooo stocky. Hope you find something that will fill his void bro. He was really stocky. When he passed my net couldn't even hold him haha. Had to take him out by hand(wearing gloves of course). Currently trying to feel the void with my new Kamalau. hehe sory for your lost bro , hope you got some fry from that male .. good luck ,.. Thanks. I tried to breed him, but never was able too with him for some reason. Out of all flowerhorn deaths stories. This one touched me because he's been through so many rough painful times and now dead. That makes me sad. All the other FHs that were well treated their whole life by their owners never touch me when they die. Just another dead fish. Not this one. R.I.P. fishy. Thanks man! Like I said I can't believe how he survived this long man. This fish was the main reason why I got hooked onto FH. |

A few pics after the power came back on and he was back in the tank. If you guys remember around two or so years ago, here in the State of Washington he had one of the nasty storm ever to hit us. Wiped out my discus setup, my saltwater setup, and other tanks with various Apistogrammas , but my flowerhorn held though.
