In one of my recent Golden Monkey spawns I see a lot of high potential fries. They are about 3/4" atm and looking hot. Almost all the fries are free marking and only 3 or 4 have flowerlines. Since i matched him with a fader King Kong Parrot about 10 of them are free marked faders.
They are sharing a 40 gallon atm but i was curious to find out whens the best time to separate the highest potential fry? --------------------  |

i think most of the smaller frys i got from seller are at least 2 inches. Even at that size, you have to be pretty good at predicting their potential

What i would do is get separate them by size starting when they reach the inch mark. If you leave the larger ones with the others, they will eat up all the food, so you sepeaate them by size to give them more time to develop and then start culling more at the two inch mark.

sorting by size would be cool..because the big ones are not always the best ones.try and hold as many as you can before you decide.
