Hi all,

I will move to a new place soon and all of my pets will not like it for sure.
what is your suggestion for moving the fish?
I am thinking put them in separate plastic bag with air
but unsure about how many % of water is good?
what about air? can I use are from fish tank air pump?
Do I need to insulate them?

thank_you.gif

Thanks in advanced.

Duy,

I am moving from North CA to South CA (San diego) so just the driving part min 10 hours (full load of moving truck)

Sound like your idea of getting air from lfs is the cheap way.

Thank for your input Duy

You are very helpful

I have a battery backup pump I use for transporting fish, I dont trust bags with larger fish. I just drilled a hole in the top of the bucket large enough for airline then wrap it in a blanket.

thanks all for your input

It's safer using the battery air pump

Dan, who made airpump that you are using?

Any suggestion about the airpump is appreciated

Crazee,

you might also be able to just get one of those plugs that goes into the car lighter. i once transported a fish with a bacpack filter connected to a 5 gal bucket plugged into my car lighter. It put it on the floor in front of the pass. seat and slid the seat up to pinch it in place. worked well. you could do the same with just an air pump.

i sell battery powered air pumps for $10.00 if you need one. i'd rather put my fish in a bucket than a bag that might leak or hurt the fish driving for so many hours

I use a pennplex one I got in a pinch at petco and spent an arm and a leg on it, cant beat $10. Its a good tool for everybody to have and you can travel knowing your fish will be ok.

Send me you resume and I will see if I can see a job that fits you but your free to use my name as a reference. I am in the IT Video Engineering Dept (digital cable, vod, ppv) but I have worked my way up and have friends all though out the company. Cox don't pay the best but they have the some awesome benefits as well its a damn good company to work for and they actually care about their people. Send me a PM and we will see what I can do for ya, I know they have a friends and family program so may be a good for you.

I have not been touched my resume for a while, kekeke… been with the same company few years before we had our first child and He 12 years old now, man it’s a long time...

I will Definitely update my resume as soon as I have time.

Right now I’m busy planning for the moving. Still trying to COE for the house few weeks before our kids school, well you all know the rest about moving… pack, load, unload, unpack…. FUN STUFFS.
I will be up north after the moved before I secure the new job down there.

I really appreciate your help Dan. thank_you.gif
