im guessing my ebjd has internal bacteria.. the symptoms are heavy breathing, slow moving, not eating, and a few days ago, had long stringy white poop hanging from him... can someone please recommend something to me? he is still less than 2in

Long stringy white poop can be a result of fish not eating in the past few days (not having anything in the stomach to poop), and doesn't necessarily mean a symptom of hex. How does his stomach look?

At the moment, raise your temperature to 86-90F and add salt. If you can provide a video or pictures, it'd be easier for us to determine the illness of your fish.

umm i guess his stomach looks swollen a bit because he hasnt eatin in a few days.. he doesnt eat, he picks at it a couple of times but just spits it out... i tried softening the food but still spits it out.. i've never done this salt thing before? what kinda salt? just aquarium salt used for saltwater aquariums?

Stomach looks swollen because he hasn't eaten in a few days? that doesn't sound right. Swollen stomach? Could be bloat or constipation... but it's very unlikely constipation.

Raise temperature and add 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons of water. Aquarium salt or Morton Water Softener salt.
