i just got home from vacation and my Zhen Zhu and blood parrot and dancing like crazy! and my blood parrot is faaaatttt so hopefully any day now, wish me luck! tell me what you think of the two i havnt had a chance to put pics of my Zhen Zhu up for you guys to cretique. also any tips you guys have would be great thanks.

yea i didnt buy him like that, my two blood parrot had laid eggs about a week prior to my purchaseing him, and they gave him quite a beating i thought they broke his jaw because it wasnt moving for a while, but now hes ruling the tank, can you tell me a bit about duck lips ive never heard of that, thanks

OMG how should I tell you this your kill the poor guy stop trying to breed him cause he dosent have that much time left if you dont pt him in a tank just by himself and get some salt and blue Methylene he will die on youand make sure th tep is at 85 degree hope you can save him

lmao you think you know alot about flowerhorn if you cant see that he dose have duck lip then oh boy you need to look again im sure if he keep it like that for any longer he will not make it but hey bro if your fish die on you from duck lip then you can blame it on jake and he can buy you a new one or you can tell him to give you one of his cause he knows everything lmao!!!!!!!!!!!

dam bro chill the fugg out man. I think Jake is right, plus if you where such the expert, you would know that meth blue is not an antibiotic, which would kill a bacterial infection like ducklips. Meth blue is to prevent fungus, kind of like pimafix does. That is why you use MELAfix for bactria infections, and PIMAfix for fungus infections. You have to be carefull in the advice and diagnosis you give. If you get all worked up and treat a fish with a med that won't treat condition, it could kill the fish. I'm sure both of you would feel bad if that happened so try and remember that dude. The lips look a little larger than normal, but like Jake said, if it was duck lips, he wouldn't be moving the rocks around like that. The best course of action IMO is to moniter the fish's condition, and maybe add salt and melafix at most. If it was me, I would just use salt and keep an eye on it. Sometimes jumping the gun on meds does more harm than good.

Is that you joshua? If so hit me up I have some INZ here. Which is metronidiazole aka metro. Its strong stuff, it will cure the ducklip quick.

Come over tomorrow, bring the Zhen Zhu you wanted to trade and take home the fry & some INZ.

Hes not gonna die, but he has a serious case of it. He needs to be put into a hospital tank by himself and treated with INZ. the INZ isnt cheap but I got you covered.

no leave the original fish and and take him out. If you see signs of other fish sick then separate them

ya its not crucial to his survival to wait until he breeds. Its just the longer you wait the less of a chance that it will heal back to normal and fit back into place.
