As the title says, I want to build a double tank stand for my 75 and 55, maybe add a third shelf up top for my 20s. I know how to build a stand for just 1 tank, but does anyone have any experience building a double? Thank you...

here is a small double but the idea is not to trust screws to hold it up thats a lot of weight and could be bad. Run an extra verticle 2x4 to help support the weight of the shelf

Something like this? Double stack - 55-gallon Make sure you leave enough room above the bottom tank to allow you to change water and clean the gravel.

Alright, thanks guys, I'll try those links. I looked at the racks at Lowes earlier, they're nice. I like to build though and I think wood would just be nicer. Might buy one though. It's only for a 75 and 55.... I'm gonna use 4x4s for the corners, I know that much...

no no bro. Better to screw 2 2x4's together. If your tank gets pushed, the 4x4's will break easier than the 2 2x4's screwed together. Well it wont break, but will rip apart easier I should say. Another good way is to cut a notch in each corner and make your supports out of 2x6. Cut the notch so the 2x6 fits in and is flush, then screw it in place. Spreads the weight out better.

Thank you, Vittles. I might buy one of those gorilla racks, don't know yet. Either way, it's getting anchored to the wall...
