those stats look great. if the machine is for gaming the cards that anthony listed are very nice.
My one concern is why go with Dell?? and then add all the nice equipment to a motherboard that is cheaper...If dell has upgraded mb's then nvm, but the dells at my work will die in about 1.5 yrs due to their mb being cheap.
I went with Dell because they're cheap.. and I know a lot of people who have Dells and have had them for awhile.. and I got a 3 - 4 year old laptop with them.. and it's still pretty good.. I just wanted a nice rig that was going to fit my budget.. I probably could have built it for pretty cheap, too.. but I ended up buying from Dell for the processor, and included OS.. then, just upgrading the vid card to the 8800GT was good.. I read a lot of reviews before buying it, and the card being $220 new.. is not bad at all, most the reviews say that if a 8800GTX is a 100% card, then the 8800GT would be 90%.. so, it's almost as good as a GTX but a lot cheaper.. And I don't game too much, I got the card for CS 1.6/Source/COD4...
Yeah, and it was also cheaper to get a dell, because I can swap everything over to a better case and mobo if need be for cheaper.. for about $800 AR and discounts, I think that's what I would have paid for just the CPU, monitor, RAM and HDD already.. so, I can have a running system now, and swap everything over to a better mobo and case later if I want to.. after warranty's exp. =D..
