Starcraft 2 - No Lan Support? Wtf?

I worked for a game company for a little as a designer and I understand the piracy concern but this is just dumb! I consider myself a non gamer, StarCraft has been the only game I have played for hours and hours and beat all the campaigns. My brother and I would play LAN play for hours and hours and I WAS excited about the Starcraft 2 and now whatever I don't care anymore. The larger the company the dumber they are...
