k guys, im glad you made a part of the forum like this, now lets see what everyone thinks of his progress, i think it has been a couple months so he grown a bit as well, oh well!

So is it the normal growth or is it chingmix? I'd say the combination of both. The pearls are definitely more shiny and silvery. Very nice body structure. if he had a bigger tail, he'd be an awesome fish.

Looks like the red is coming out & the pearls are definitely brighter. Keep up the good work.

hey Nam, it is a mix of both, hes been on chingmix since that first update (a month or 2 ago) till now. im aware his tail is pretty small, oh well, doesnt bother me but it would be nice if it was bigger... thanx for the reply!
thanx bro oley, his pearls actually turned this color lol, they started pretty close to the color they were in the first photo. and ya, red has come out wonderfully. |

thanx bro, hes in my 90 now with the big fish, which im getting rid of them all but slowly, not all at once. hes got a decent kok now, but can anyone tell me why it isnt growing the typical Zhen Zhu way, it is growing forward instead of up on an angle???

it was kinda random, i fed it anywhere from once every 2 days to 3 times a day, i started him on lots and have been slowing down since, he was also fed a lot of bloodworms, he now gets frozen krill every once and a while, there is some Omega food in there as well, i also plan to pick up some NLS when i can find it for a decent price. (i need to be old enough to work and afford it
 haha)as far as how much i was feeding, i cant really say how much he got cuz there were 2 other flowerhorns in the tank lol, but he ate approx 10 pellets each feeding id assume. i wish this guy had more pearls on his underside of the flowerline and more of a kok, but the kok could come with age so im waiting patiently. great lookin fish! your before pic looks exactly the way mine does right now. i started mine on ching mix about a week ago and already the red is coming out more. how long have you been feeding him the ching mix? i hope thats the results i can look forward to. somebody please tell me what the KOK is. keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
