Alright looks like i will be getting another rack or two of tanks. The setup for these tanks are 3 tanks aligned horizontally with a drilled bulkhead utilizing the gravity system with one wet/dry on the floor pumping water back to the top tank. Now i was given the suggestion of using the filter media called biohome which i also was told each piece is equivalent to 40 bioballs? Have anyone use these media before? Im trying to cut down on WC time so i will be leaning toward more of these setups so the media is critical as to maintain prestige water quality

anyone used these? it states for ponds, but i suppose it can work for wet/dry system..

Great stuff dude alot of biospace then balls but also pricy but u dont need as much in one of my w/d i have sponge on tray and bballs then a tray of biohome pellets and then more sponge its all bacteria 108.gif

Cut to fit air conditioner filters you get from depot for like $6, works good for a very coarse filter media.

also get some of these

hey danz, do you know how many L in a box??? i see that it said 1 L can treat up to 12-13 gallons but they doesn't say how much in a box for 8.99 or 10.99...........did you try this already??? is it good??? and most important, for a box of 8.99 or 10.99, how many L in there? thx
