Any one using a reverse flow filter?
Filter above water line with an internal water pump delivering water up to the filter and gravity flow back to the tank.
I've been thinking about a DIY of these systems and get rid of my AC.

i use one on my little reef tank. Its a refugium, and there is a pump in the tank that pumps water to the filter which hangs on the back, and the water is gravity fed back to the tank.

most of the jebo , lifetech, newport and china tank setups are using that type of filtration.. but its the simplest ones and not as complicated as the ones they use in asian countries...

I just don't like the water splashing sounds it makes (unless you have an output tube go inside the water) and it'll look weird with this big box on top.
