are there any wet/dry filters that i can use just like a regular canister filter on a glass tank? i was looking at some earlier at a LFS but he said that i needed to have holes on my tank to use the ones he had. can anyone recommend one? thanks. it'll be for a 55g

Why would you want to use a wet/dry filter for a only 55G tank bro(too much money spending for filter on a small tank), just use a AC 110 alone and it would do the job just fine for you 4_12_12[1].gif

yea bro wet dry is for a larger setup i would say 100g and up or for multiple tanks get a ac110 plus your fluval and you should be good even an ac70 and the canister would be good IMO

Yes, look up Eheim.
I have one and it is working pretty good but not good enough to justify for the price.

if u really want a W/D u can get your tank drilled or get a hang on the back over flow but for your 55 its easier to use a canister
