Hi Tiger,

I'm not sure where you can get an flowerhorn in NO, but you would start by looking and asking around at your Local fish store. Many fish stores have flowerhorn available on their stock lists and can get them in on special request if you ask them. You can try petsmart or petco sometimes they will randomly get in Flowerhorns, but be aware they will label them as a "three spot cichlid".

A third optioin would be to participate in our ILC Groub buy happening next week. The fish will be leaps and bounds better quality than you could get from the first two options, but the costs will be much higher as the fish are being imported from Indonesia. I also suspect there will be another group buy on flowerhornrus.com relatively soon after our ILC event, so there will be more opportunities for you should you miss out next week. hope this helps, any questions please feel free to ask!

Welcome ot the site and the hobby, you in for lots of trouble. If your married get ready for many nights on the couch or single enjoy living of ramen. If you looking to get started you could bum some fry off members or try www.aquabid.com but the GB is honestly one of the best places to get a fish. The ILC one is starting up soon so check it out.

For all intensive purposes, yes you can order through the website, but that isn't exactly the whole story. We will have more details coming for you shortly, and hopefully you will better understand. If you are looking to order through websites some other places to check out are:

www.Aquabid.com (Danz mentioned)
www.exotictrading.net
www.flowerhornparadise.com
www.aquaticwonderland.com

Welcome Tiger,

As Pantherlax has mention. The best way to get masterpiece flowerhorn and also cheapest compare to local fish store is thru group buy. Fortunately for you, ILC is having one within 6 days.
The process is very simple and we, USA hobbyist done it plenty of time so please don't worry about losing money or not receiving your fish. ILC has a very good reputation and operate with highest integrity.
If you are not ready to participate in group buy and unable to find a flowerhorn at local fish store near you then perhap you may want to check www.aquaticwonderland.com. It is in Dallas, Texas. David Nguyen also has a very good reputation so your money and flowerhorn will be safe with him.

Finally, do ask around and you will find many flowerhorn hobbyists around you. Sadly, not many of them post on forum.

Best of luck bro and we are here to help you in anyway we can.

Yes you can but its very expensive thats wht group guys are the way to go. We get a discounted rate do to the volume and we share the shipping so you can get a $200+ fish for $150 and just pay to have shipped if you not local to the transhipper. ILC is from Indonesia (thats the I in ILC)

Most oversea sellers have transhipper. You must contact their transhipper to get quote for shipping and handling cost, then give transhipper your address so they can send you the fish.

Hi Tiger, in case you haven't figured out, here's how Group Buys work: On a scheduled date, the overseas seller (such as ILC in Indonesia, JaPRO in Indonesia, Rarefish in Taiwan, etc.) posts up pictures of the fishes with a price tag for each fish. If you see a fish you like, you reserve and pay for it, usually via Paypal. The Group Buy will then eventually closes, say 1 or 2 weeks later. After the overseas seller receives all the money for the reserved/purchased fishes, he'll then ship ALL the purchased fishes in one shipment to a transhipper in the US. The transhipper then ships the fish to you, if you don't live within his locality and can't pick up your fish. You must pay the transhipper US domestic shipping fee. So prior to reserving your fish, it is recommended that you contact the transhipper to determine the transhipping fee. Most of the time the transhipper posts that information on the Group Buy (GB) thread as well.

The next GB is only 6 days away. You're coming in at the right time bro.

Hope that helps.
