Hi All and Happy CNY!

I'm sure some of you may have recently read some rumors about our staff taking "copyrighted" material from another flowerhorn site. Let me put these assinine accusations to bed and clear the good name of a couple of our staff and members who did nothing wrong and now have silly incorrect signatures and messages which they can not change nor stand up for themselves. Fact is almost every fish forum has identical rules. To claim that rule set as your intellectual property is, to put it lightly, misleading. Most of our rules are actually modeled after the Waterwolves.com forum rules here:

As most of you know this forum has been active since 1998

To suggest that WW has operated a fish forum since 1998 yet did not post any rules until after their new site rolled after the split with MFK in 2004 is beyond comprehension. The ridiculouness does not then end there as they would then have to turn around and copy the other forums rules.

The action taken by the other forum is nothing other than an attempt to smear the good name of the passionate hobbyists who frequent this forum, and do not share the same views as their administrator.

Please rest assured we are taking necessary steps to prevent our valued members from being punished by other websites for their positive contributions here. Any and all attempts to enforce any other membership policy other than our own on this site will be met with a vigorous and stalwort defense.

PS. I hope we can end this here, because we have a lot of new and exciting ideas we are getting ready to rollout for you guys. This is a futile attempt to distract the drive, vision and passion we have for the site and hobby, but it won't stop us and I know it won't stop you guys either!
