But i have to admit that the pics you are showing are not really proving anything towards our doubt. Remember i stated that the fish will most likely not get a large head, i didn't say the fish would not get a head what so ever. At this point the head has barely popped, only time will tell if it will truly get large. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Lets just wait for an update at 6 inches and beyond, then we will get a better idea of total head potential. Personally, the 3 week update dont look good at all.

well i know the pictures are shitty. i just posted the update to show how this fish has improved in my eyes. i just remember some saying it didnt look like a King Kamfa and what not. it has really came along from 3 weeks ago IMO. as for color you notice the first picture had the pink light on while this one i think had only room light, no tank light, and flash was on so things got washed out more. i didnt mean to bash anyone and im sorry if my thread title sounds like it, just showing a fish that even i had doubts about before and now i wish i had gotten it. cheers guys

Hopefully whoever brings it in can do some beautiful updates to share the beauty.
Definitely exciting to see new strains of flowerhorns being produced. I personally havent seen a full grown konkamfa, so i am not quite sure if it is proven to grow big koks like The Tan Kings. But we will see right? -------------------- To order Chingmix email sales@chingmixusa.com

Well the pic was taken with a Nikon D300 which is a serious piece of equipment and exported though Photoshop 7.0 and by the lighting on the face this fish was light properly using red bulbs/gels and there in manual mode not auto so he knew how to use the camera. And if a seller doesn't know the origin of his fish or is not willing to disclose the origin of his fish, that's a shame. This King Kamfa is nice. Let's see how it turns out in US water.
