Hi big bros here............greetings to all

Just bought flowerhorn on 20 September 2008 at RM140 from a Malaysian LFS.........but i do not know what's type or species and only it's a short body type.....any bro can tell me my flowerhorn species???

Oh ya...........since purchased until today, my flowerhorn body look black black leh...........dunno why.........i put one extra coral stone into the underground level trying to increase the PH but still same.............

Cute short body..

I believe they call these guys Bonsai. Strain??? Not sure.. the pros may be able to help u put.. lol

Thank you all the bros for the positive comments about my FH!!!

Anyone can tell me why it is so black especially the tail area??? I had tried to put in extra coral stone at the gravel and changed 50% water but the PH still remained at 6.6.

Can any bros and experts help me on this?? Please.................

Add more Coral Chips
that pH is to low. Buy a big bag of coral and add it into the tank.

you can also try to stabilize ph by using baking soda.if normal ph is achieved and fish still looks black, try placing a mirror at the side of the glass,it might help him control his aggressiveness, and lighten its color.
