just got this flowerhorn in yest, its about 7.5inch and supposed to be a male.......but im having my doubts.
just wanted to know what you guys think thanks

I agree.. body shape looks female to me but it's not 100% unless it lays eggs...

I would go with Female because the bottom fin is not as long as it should be. I would have gone with the top fin but it was torn. and the body doesn't really say anything about the sex of the fish because a female could grow a hump too and look just like a male. but I guess you cant really tell until it lays eggs. good luck
