Here he is the 10$ Super Red Texas getting reder every day loads of pearls.on his face and gill area is deap red that was the color when he molted the kid said so I hope he gets that red again.can someone put my pics up.

These are the pics of him only a 2 hours in my tank.today his head is deep red and it is spreading threw his body.he hasn't seen any light for months now so it might take awile for his color to come back.his body is covered in pearls that is why he is so white!

Super Red Texas are very finicky if they are stressed they develop black marks when i got my Super Red Texas he looked like your after a few days he bounced back to this

Red Texas are rarely really red. Mostly just orange. Red Texas you see in pictures are mostly color enhanced externally (aquarium light, photo enhancement, etc.). Nonetheless, they're beautiful fish. Congrats on your new acquisition. That's a steal.

That fact that he survived in that tank with no filter just a airstone no light or heater for just about 3 months shows the toughness of the american cichlid genes.u put a african cichlid in aq ph under 8 he is dead in day.one more hour or two when he brought his new snake home this Super Red Texas was about to go down the toilet I offered him 10$ to buy pinkies he was going to just give him to me.when he told me wut he had I neq instantly the 10$ was worth it.besides the 24$ I spent on endgname this is the best 10$ I ever spent.I have seen srt's that look just like mine go for a arm and leg on ab.if his colors come back I got a gpd mp.his pearling is outstanding u just can't tell witg those pics.
