sup guys, just scored a 29g tank, Aquaclear 50 (formerly 200), with canopy and light fixture free :D tank looks brand new!!!!!!

the tank is 30"x18.5"x12", could a Bonsai be OK in there permanently?

You can house it in there for a bit but once it starts to grow i would move him to a bigger tank..The biggest bonsai i seen in the flesh was about 6" and the guy said he had it for a few years so i am not sure if he can live out his life there.

I also got a 72 gallon tank, canopy and iron stand free today but have no room for it so i am giving it to a friend for his red ear slider turtle.. lol He has no fish but can make a nice set up and get another turtle..

LOL, everyones scoring deals today! i will put that one from aquaticwonderland in there if i can get more people to join up for it, but it is hard getting people to spend money on a fish, especially $100+ fish

Well I work int he Property Management Industry.. i have a betta community tank in my office so a lot of my tenants see that i am into fish.. So one of my tenants updraded from his 72 gallon to a 210 and asked me if i wanted his tank and stand that is less then a year old.. i first said no because i love in a 2 bedroom apartment and have no room left with 10 tanks in my place but a friend of mine has a baby turtle in a 20 gallon.. i feel bad for it so i told him he has to take this tank and give it to the turtle.. so he agreed:)

He is dropping it off to my office tomorrow.. maybe i'll take a pic when he has it set up with his little red ear slider:)

Congrats Gage and Vittle king..waiting for pics of the tanks...

i would say a Bonsai will do well in a 40g in the long run, but for a while a 29 G sounds great!

i decided to dedicate this tank to my beloved pair of Convict cichlids, ive decided to make this tank a Lake Amatitlan Biotope tank, seeing as this is where Convicts come from. ive had my male Convict for about 1.5-2 years now, hes a koky beast! when he is dominant anyway, he isnt very koky right now. and besides, he is one of my favorite fish in my tank, the very first fish of mine to ever bite me! hehehe

my Male convict mysteriously died yesterday, no sign of bites or anything, i dunno, maybe the female killed him, stressed him out to much, i think im goin with a pair of Neetroplus nematopus (Neets)

no Bonsai for me, i think i may be getting out of flowerhorns though, there to expensive, more then they should be.

ha ha ha, veery funny Paul, nice con, almost as nice as the one of mine that died, though mine was a barred, he was nice.
