well I've been having a problem with the plastic valve part on the python brand, and have heard the same from a few people on local cichlid forum. One of the workers at LFS swears python started using cheaper plastic or something, and that the Lee's brand is better. We shall see. I've used these for years and they do a good job. Just sucks when the pump part breeaks cause they can be pricey. I have found if you buy them from home depot, or Meijers (midwest grocery chain) they are a lot cheaper than at the LFS, but plan on replacing the plastic pump piece 1-2 times a year. Other than that they work great.

OK improved on my method, added a spare set of quick connect valves on my 2215 and my output is perfect for my hose so canister pumps out to the hose which goes to the tub :) No need to hook up a pump plus I can shake the cansiter around and try to do a clean out.
