sorry for all the movement..my parrots just laid eggs so they are chasing everyone in the tank around keeping them away from the eggs... -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

It's actually petrified wood.. not driftwood... the driftwood that i had made the water sort of like a tea color so we took it out and used the petrified wood.. hes in there with those King Kong Parrot x gt fry that i picked up a while back... 2 of them are starting to fade i think.. the top of their bodies and fins are black.. well we'll see how long he can be in that tank without them all going at it..lol -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

thats cool. I sue that malay driftwood. Try to boil your driftwood, or put some in clean tub or soemthing in the sun and change the water every few days. The heat will help leech the tannins out of the wood. Boiling works best IME though.

Hey I just got a synspilum today. It is about 3 to 3.5in but has almost no color. You can see the pearls coming in. It is almost all silver and black. I hear they are extremely late bloomers. anyone know if this is true? When it was spooked it showed a little more color so I still have hope. Also I hear they are slow growers? And does anyone have any pictures of a flowerhorn x Syn ??

Feed him veggie pellets as well... The colors will intesify with a lot of veggies in their diet. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
