for me personaly i would never buy a unfaded srt.....

I don't think if it were faded it would have flowers on the body. Pretty nice RT, but the real question is how much is the asking price?
When grading Super Red Texas it usually first goes by the color red. ie red, coral, orange, yellow. The deeper the red the higher the quality as well as the price. Next comes pearling, the more intricate and covered the pearling is the higher the quality/price. Thirdly is head/kok since most hericthys (Texas) don't get large humps. Fourthly finnage and body because most hericthys actually have nice fins by flowerhorn standards This guy rates very highly for pearling, starting to see a head, typical herichthys fins. I would ask for a picture with the flash on to get a better idea on how to evaluate the color. even if it isnt faded, it is still red, id get it, but i wouldnt pay a ton for it, but then again, im into flowerhorn, not SRT, id still buy him though :)

The fish looks great right now but will look different after the fade. The shiny white pearls won't be as noticeable and will turn into a more lighter colored fish and the pearls will start blending into each other. I've had a few very pearly Super Red Texas females that look very similar to yours before the fade. I posted lots of pics on several websites.

i guess u dun have to ask for any more pix tho... fade is fade .. doesnt fade is doesnt fade... this fact showing the bloodline of the fish.. just think about it y there only a number counted by fingers that faded earlier when their lil ?? y is that? so just dun waste ur time ..

found out this variety is the new blood red srt. hes only going to get deeper red. got some more pics.
