Thanks but i picked one up not to long ago like the pic I posted I been seeing an influx of RD at the lfs selling dirt cheap Gilbert is selling a kokster for $50 now 100 seems a bit steep for that lil guy

Maybe this fish is one of those with only $50 potential. When you need and can't find one the price could get to $200 it just depends if you really need one and if the fish in question suits your needs.

To tell you the truth gage, jeff rapps is more about the name than the quality. Quality is usually in the eye of the beholder unless there is an agreed upon standard. Usually jeff is more about wild or close to wild fish, which with regards to quality is a whole other deal.

Jon there should be many LFS in NY that have Midas. All you have to so is be patient and you will get the fish you need and cheap also.

I picked one up already in NY but i did see one exactly like mines only 2" longer for $200

as far as jeff rapps i dont like that he picks your fish its really hit or miss with him i seen MP and I also seen duds from his stock

bro, wild caught fish are usually good quality, nice size kok and that, and also, who else are you going to get a PURE midas or a PURE Red Devil...no one, unless the store buys from Jeff Rapps it is a 98% chance it is a hybrid between RD/Midas, which the one posted is.

all im saying is that the RD/Midas posted is only worth 30 bux MAX

Where in nyc did you get your midas. I have been looking for a long time for a good cichlids store.
