I have a red devil on hold for me, it has the perfect flowerhorn body with nice rounded kok. I went to the store that has him and I noticed the wall had eggs.
I asked the owner if he put any females in with him, he explained to me hes been in that tank alone for the last 2 weeks. So my question to you guys is has anyone even seen a kokster red devil female? My plan was to breed him to a female green texas but if hes a she then WOW!!! Ill have to get a male texas kokster now..... ill get pics tomorrow of her. --------------------  |

yes bro some red decil females do get kok. I used to breed RD and i had a kokster female, the heads pop out on them when spawning!

Thats cool man, do you have any pics of them while you were breeding? Some of my female flowerhorn have a rounded head, but this one looks like a water head its that big. Im still having my doubts because I see a female midas a couple tanks down from the devil. If its a male or female im still going to pick it up nonetheless. -------------------- |

Ok, I doubted this RD was a female so I asked the people to clear out the white eggs for me. now a few weeks later the RD is by itself and theres over 1000 eggs on the wall.
Its a proven female, and since its a RD its fairly certain to assume shes fertile. Shes a excellent all red specimin w/ large kok even when not spawning. She should make some dam good SRT. Anyone in Socal have a good large male GTexas to breed her with? -------------------- |

I saw a female devil at a LFS that was laying eggs, and she had a real nice knot on her head. I would snatch her up bro!!

Hes asking $100.00 now that he knows its a female. Before it was $40.00 but listed as a male. Shes fairly large, I wouldnt trust her with my 7" GM. Ill go get pics of her today.
