Well I have been wanting to try this out but never had the supplies to do so and I got lucky and was able to do this for $5. I had pucked up a quart of drylock in the messup paints tinted a light blue and found some wood from some shelves on the side of the road. I glued the wood and drilled 2 1/2 wood screws every 3-5" and then applied 3 coats of drylock on the outside and a single one on the outside. I am going to silicone all the corners just to be save since thats the weakest area then will stack a 20g I have. I plan to drill the 20g so it will overflow to the 30g then drill and plumb a wc exit and build a mini wetdry for it on the outside. Will post pics of the finished setup!

Dan, you need to go to a boating supply shop and get yourself fiberglass paint.
They come in different color and it seals and water prove the wood totally.
I did one of these with my biology teacher in high school.
We made a 300gal for puget sound salt water critters.
We built a box and cut out the front leaving 6 inches around the perimeters and then silicone a thick piece of glass the from the inside.
