What is a King Kamfa? King Kamfa is just a super nice kamfa. Not every fry in a batch will grow up to be a
king kamfa. So what qualifies a fish to be a king kamfa? Here's what I learned from experienced hobbyists in Vietnam who have owned or/and currently own at least one King Kamfa. Any thing wrong or missed, please correct or add.

Pearls:

- Bright pearls covering the gill plates.
- Bright and thick pearls covering the body
- Bright and shiny pearls on the fins and tail

Mouth:
Even mouth - upper and lower lips are even when closed.

Tail:

- Wrapped - no obvious gap between dorsal fin and caudal fin (tail), and anal fin and caudal fin (tail).
- Bright pearls covering most of the tail.
- Most of them also have orange/red posterior.

Eyes:

- There are three colors: white, orange and red.
- No black mark underneath the eyes.

Also, usually the flowerline does not extend all the way to the head (a typical kamfa trait), but occasionally we see KKs with very complete flower line.

we can pin it so it stays at the top of the King Kamfa discussion forum Chritina. I was going to pin it for you, but I don't have those permissions. Sure one of the admins wouldn't mind doing it for you.

They look a helluva lot more like King Kamfa than the allready infamous $450 "king Kamfa".
