Hi All,

I was spotted on youtube and asked if I would come along and show my planted tank. I set it up on the 5th of September 2007. It is my first tank after a break of about twenty years from the hobby.

The Initial Set Up

Substrate Eco-Complete on the left side and front, Red Sea Florabase covered with black gravel on right side.

Water Param's

PH 6.8,,,,,KH 4,,,,,GH 7,,,,,,NO3 15,,,, CO2 Injection is used 30 bubbles per minute

I removed the stones, and planted up with Amazon Swords, Cabomba, Elodea Densa, Java Fern, Hornwart, Hygrophylla, Nymphaea Stellata. Crypto, Wendtii, Crypto. Ciliata.

Two Months later.

More Crypto's added. Nymphea Stellata was removed as it was taking over the tank. A lot of the stem plants were removed.

Very nice setup. Looks like you got it right, there is no algae growth.
