i have a problem with that, all of them should be variable, ive seen a lot of those "incompatible" fish living together before. such as the Sciaenichromis mixing with tropheus.

The key is to over crowd i been told multiple times yellow labs and melocnromis cant mix but time and time again i have seen them together i think if you over crowd aggression gets spread out evenly

i know :), ive been told that you cant mix Calvus/compressiceps with Mbuna to...well, i have 3 Altolamprologus Calvus (black) and a black comp. with multiple Mbuna, Peacocks, and a couple Victorians as well...
