anyone have any comments on this product? Im thinking about using it with bioball as well as bioglass. Figure i will go all out on this wet/dry to keep water at top notch condition Also its on sale 48% off -------------------- |

The first one is irregular shaped. The second one is cylindrical shape.
I like the second one better because it doesn't have many broken pieces. And they say it has more surface area. -------------------- Know fish or No fish

Sorry Ken, the Pro is spherical (ball shape), not cylindrical.

Why not just use coral chips?

I would pack the W&D in the following order from bottom to top: Coral chips, Siporax, "that black course pad", bioballs, black course pad again, felt, and cover with perforated plexi glass with 3/8" holes 1/2" apart.

you guys ever heard of a filter working with plastic army men i read that somewhere makes me think of what other crap i got laying around that could be used for media i can this idea of cutting eggcrate cubes and using that i think bb would grow on it
