Hey Ken, just came up with an idea, which can make your water super clear, save your time to clean your tanks also. Your W/D filter doesn't take anything at the bottom of your tanks, with this design, it will pick up most of the thing at the bottom of your tanks to the filter on the top. what you do is just clean your filter pads.
When you do W/C, just shut down the return Valve and open the other Valve, your dirty water will go to the sink, fill up the water back to all tanks & W/D filter then turn on the power, this way, you don't have to worry about flooding. If you guys have any idea to add on, feel free to add it on.... -------------------- |

Thanks Tung for the idea bro Looks pretty high tech lol, what about if there are more than one full setup? It works for one full setup only, if you have more tanks, they need to be connected all together to one sump, then you will have the jet return to each top tank, That is for your sump. for the estra filter, just do the plumping job to all tanks then use one water pumper, but more jet returns and containers as well is there a pump in the wetdry as well? Yes, sir. This is the other side of the setup -------------------- |

good idea but it seems like you will need a larger Sump for more tanks! I would rather run one sump per 3 tanks!

Wil, they do make big ass pumps you know. The reason i prefer it that way, is because of systems failing. That way you don't have to lose as many fish. -------------------- |

The reason i prefer it that way, is because of systems failing. That way you don't have to lose as many fish. I got you. A central system can have multiple pumps. If one fail, the others can hold on until replacement. And always use different circuits for each piece of equipment. Nobody ever talk about a central heating. That is another topic. -------------------- Know fish or No fish
