yep its the return line from the pump to the top tank. I have a gravity system where there is 3 tank and a sump tank. top tank goes to 2nd etc etc. Only problem is that im having a hard time securing the return line to the top tank. I figure if i can get some sort of clamp or the piece as illustrated, it would secure it without getting lose and flooding the place

there are flexible ones like that too ken, but they cost more. If you want to do it cheap, you could make one of those out of PVC for about $1.50 and still connect to a 3/4" hose.

Hey Ken, make sure your out take above the water level, if you don't wanna get flooded. coz when you shutdown the power, all the water will return to your W/D filter until your outtake out off water

Good point tung, that was my biggest concern actually. Im glad you reminded me lol. I gotta get a bigger sump to avoid that from happening. Im gotta upgrade it from the 20 i have now to a 30 breeder which is the max the bottom slot will hold.

Thanks for the heads up bro

also 90's restrict the waterflow, if you can get the pvc fill with sand and tape off the ends. Heat up the pvc and bend it to the shape you need and cool it and you wont restrict the waterflow :)
