Hey fellow members
Im looking to implement a reward program for our members who contribute to our sites. My first thoughts were a raffle system based on post counts (Ex. 50, 100 etc) that will be eligible to enter into free raffles such as AC110 filters, chingmix supplies, etc etc. The winning # will be based on the winning # on the mega million drawings. All this will come at NO COST to our members, all i ask is for suggestions and improvements to the site. Also just to show what i have in store for once our community is establish is to do bigger scale raffle system that come at a very small cost ($2, $5 etc) to our members that will give us all a chance to win masterpieces or acrylic tank etc etc. Open to all feedbacks/comments/suggestions!! -------------------- |

Just a clarification, what does "contribute" mean?
 Raffle is a great idea, however this has been done before with another flowerhorn site, I joined the forum, joined the raffle, and ended up feeling ripped off coz the winner was the person who bought more than 10 entries, and finally the winner decided to donate the fish to the one who initiated the raffle. Now that smells fishy!  How about a local group buy that will ship fish from new york to california? That should get the attention of a lot of people (since a lot of members are from cali) Of course you have to talk about cheap quality ones, without the intention of making money for the initial group buy. Just my suggestion  .

I think he meant the raffle where members have to buy tickets. Even though ticket is cheap I am sure it will cause more headache than fun.
