* Rookie Question, Flowerhorn Locking Jaw

hi all, I am new to flowerhorn, got these 2 fish about 1 1/2 month by now, male is about 5-6 " head to tail, femail just a tad short (about the same), so they been seperated since day one.....I notice the femail tube drop, (been reading this post), so I am thinking "ITS TIME" for them to get together, once I put them together, they instantly lock jaw, I would say 'bout 1 -2 hours,non stop, both their mouth are kinda mess up........they stop for 'bout 7 hurs, then lock again for anther 45 mins. now they are just swimming around like nothing had happen.......... are they ready to go ? what do I do next ? please advice a newbie.....theres are my 3rd and 4th flowerhorn... already spent too much money........and already thinking to buy more, ( yea, I think I am hooked too)
